“Chloe’s parents are both nurses and her daddy is also a firefighter.  The night before she was born, her mommy started having contractions.  From everything she learned in nursing school, these resembled Braxton Hicks contractions, or false labor.  Chloe’s daddy was working at the fire station, and since her mommy thought it was false labor, she went to bed.  When she got up in the morning the contractions were still at irregular times, still about the same strength, and still just in her abdomen.   Suddenly the contractions were two minutes apart and much more unbearable, so Chloe’s mommy called her daddy to come home from work and bring her to the hospital.  Guess this is the real thing!

When they got to the hospital, the wonderful nurses at Women and Infants told them that she was 7 cm dilated and couldn’t believe that she didn’t come in sooner.   They were quickly admitted and a few hours later,  Chloe Fleur was born.   August 5th, 2012 at 8:39pm weighing 7lbs and measured 18.5 inches.  Chloe Fleur’s name means “blooming flower” and her parents thought that this was a beautiful name for a growing little girl.

When the nurses placed her in her mommy’s arms, it was such a surreal feeling after waiting so long to meet her and wondering what she looked like.  Chloe’s mommy and daddy are so in love with her and look forward to seeing her grow up to be a beautiful little girl.  Hopefully she likes animals because little Chloe Fleur has three kitty siblings and three doggie siblings that are just waiting to play with her!”
