2 Year Old Jai | Rhode Island Child Photography

Jai… “Heart”  in Thai.  What a great name.   His father is a cardiologist, which makes the name that much greater!

Jai reminded me so much of my daughter.. it’s funny how many two year olds say the same sentences!  I usually photograph newborns up to a year or so… for some reason, chasing around a two year old with a camera was such a treat!  You would think I did it more often with Charlie!

Please pay special attention to how talented this little one is… the last photo is a collage of his very own photography!!  Way to go Jai!!

we would also like to pay special thanks to our newbie photographer!  Talented little Jai!!

Evoking You Photo Challenge… Intimate.

This weeks photo challenge by Evoking You is “an intimate” photo… I had been wanting to do this session for a while last winter… and we finally got together to do it in early May.  We live in Rhode Island, and the waters here in early May are still extremely cold!!  I think it added to the fun (well… I wasn’t rolling around in the water) haha

Little Flowers

So… I have to admit.  All of this rain is starting to effect my mood.   So, this morning my daughter and I went around the garden and took some photos of why I should appreciate the rain, instead of wishing it would end.  These shots were taken with my favorite lens – the Canon 100mm 2.8 macro L

Gift Certificates! | Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island Newborn Photographer

I just recently met this wonderful, smiley woman who came to my studio on a rainy day to do a maternity session… we would have rescheduled, but she lived so far away and this was the only day that worked for her.  She is going to be the maid of honor in her best friends wedding… her best friend who bought the session for her as her gift!  This got me thinking about how great of a gift idea that is.

We now offer gift certificates in any denomination!  What a great baby shower gift!

Anyone can purchase one, just click on “online viewing and ordering” in the top you will see “gift cards”  Click on the link.. enter the amount, and instructions will be sent on where to send the check!  You will receive your gift card in less than a week!  *It will be valid immediately, even if you have not received the paper copy.

Thanks everyone!!

Love,

Michelle Dimery
