Girls | Rhode Island and MA Family Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing this mother who many of my viewers may recognize; she is highly respected in the birthing community.  She has probably delivered a good number of the babies who you see throughout this site…  Lets all thank her for helping them arrive safe and sound for your daily entertainment on the blog!

As you can see.. she is not only good at delivering babies, but also at making them (dad, you are pretty good too!)

Aren’t these girls just stunning?  They are hilarious and a super fun time, too!

Reese and Rory’s Cake Smash! | Rhode Island and MA Cake Smash Photographer

“Almost a year ago, our lives were irrevocably changed in the best way imaginable.  Rory and Reese entered this world small but strong and bursting with personality from the start, weighing in at 5 lbs. 8 oz. and 5lbs., respectively.

Soon after coming home from the hospital, came the whirlwind, sleepless nights (gasp) — would it be a colossal understatement to say we are two times as glad those are in the past?  While it has certainly been challenging at times (we estimate that we will have changed roughly 7400 diapers in the first year alone), it has all been well worth it considering our two beautiful blue eyed girls.

Rory, we chose your name for you before you were born and little did we know how its meaning, “fiery one,” would suit you perfectly.  As our family describes you, you are “a real sketch,” as your laugh is contagious, and you remind us all what it is like to have true curiosity for the world around you.

And to our little peanut Reese, you are sweet and focused, and you surprise us with the way you can stand up for yourself (as your daddy calls it, your “salty pickle” alter ego.).  You are elegance and determination all rolled into one string bean, with a perfect giggle to match.

To our beautiful daughters, we will never be able to express in words the crazy love we have for you, how much you have taught us and reminded us about ourselves, and how incredibly lucky we are to watch you grow.  We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you.”

Two Month Old Archie and 3 Year Old Ruby | Rhode Island and Massachusetts Beach Family Photographer

We had a beautiful sunset at Barrington beach for our session last week!  Archie is already so smiley at 8 weeks old, and he was such a chill little guy (got to love chunky baby boys!)

His big sister Ruby is just stunning with her big smile, curls and adorable pink glasses!  I’m so happy we are neighbors; our kids are all going to go to school together, and they are spaced out just perfectly where they might even be in the same classes!

Boys | Rhode Island and MA Family Photography

Right now, I am battling my daughter to get her to wear anything other than a pink tutu… and her energetic outbursts are filled with twirling and high pitched squeals.  I am lost when it comes to 4 and 6 year old brothers whipping toy alligators, and tackling each other to the ground.

I used to think girls wore pink and boys wore blue was because of society and the environment they were raised in, but after having friends that have sons, and photographing this gorgeous, funny and smiling family, I think there is a VERY distinct difference between most girls and boys!

Something I am preparing myself for when my six month old son reaches the toddler years!

I have to say… this session was lots of fun, and the boys were extremely happy;  from the second I got out of the car they rushed up to me to show off their alligator (Max).

Thanks again for sharing them with me for the afternoon!

Ashton’s First Birthday! | Rhode Island and MA Baby Photography

It was a super warm, party cloudy evening at the beach, and Ashton flashed us some smiles for the shoot.  It was so great to see everyone again… and to see how much of a little model Ashton has become!  Dad’s parents came for the shoot as well.. I cannot tell you enough how happy I am when grandparents join in on the session!
