Camden has grown so much since our newborn session together! I love his cheeks.. they are nothing short of amazing!
I was lucky enough to meet his grandmother and aunt during our shoot… this boy is so blessed to be raised by such an amazing family.

Every time I see little Miles I melt at his adorable blue eyes. He loved the water… and from what I heard, this was his first time going into a lake! I could tell he loved the water so much because every time we took him away from it he would start crying! So sweet…. I love how babies show so much emotion.

“Lana is our sweet, inquisitive, and funny little girl. She has taught us to slow down and appreciate life. Lana enjoys reading, being outdoors, animals, and 5 to 6 step walks in front of the house where she smiles her “silly smile” at all of the neighbors. Watching Lana learn each day is the most rewarding part of our time with her so far. We are lucky to be her parents.”

“Liam is truly a one-of-a-kind little man-an extremely loving, curious, and adorably quirky soul. To know him is to realize that children are the most amazing gifts anyone can receive. Many parents share their accounts of how and what they’ve taught their children, and yes, we have taught Liam many things. For example, he can say dog, bubbles, and bird, to name a few. He also loves Adele and enjoys a dance or two to songs by The Black Eyed Peas. But in actuality, Liam has been the one teaching us the last 12 months. He made us realize that our hearts were only half full; he filled up the remainder upon his arrival. We discovered that we weren’t simply staring into the eyes of our baby, but gazing at the beautiful and perfect product of two people who had built an unshakeable foundation for many years. We learned that screaming and barking like a dog in public places was okay, even pretty liberating! We witnessed true innocence, curiosity, inexplicable joy, love and humor, all of which we feel forever grateful that our son let us share with him. We always ask ourselves, “How could life possibly get any richer or more fulfilling?” The answer lies in the mind, body, and soul of our son, Liam. Happy 1st birthday to our sweet dude.”
Look What We Got Ben To Do | Rhode Island and Cape Cod Wedding Photographer
I was very excited to photograph this couple! Chelsy – you are fabulous, and Ben… you are too!
In her words:
“Ben and I would have never guessed that we would meet our soul mate on an online dating site. My brother-in-law thought it would be comical to make a Yahoo Personals page one afternoon when I forgot to log out of my Yahoo account. A week later my brother-in-law told me “Hey there is this guy Ben you are talking to, take a look.” Long story short a month later on my birthday my now husband took me on our first date and 6 months later we were married!
It was a quick courtship, an even quicker engagement but it has been the best ride of both of our lives. At the time of our nuptials Ben was stationed in Newport, RI due to transfer that summer, the Coast Guard brought us to Cape Cod. This is where we have been for the last 3 years and as life slowed down for us we both know that this is the quiet before the storm. A lot of changes will be happening in the next year. Next spring our time here on Cape Cod will be over. Not knowing were the Coast Guard will be taking us we are enjoying the calm right now.
Our love is the strongest right now and when we are in the mist of craziness next year and what it will bring, its these moments that we want to remember. We wanted that reminder in pictures to bring us back to a calm part of our lives. So that we know no matter how crazy life gets for us we will always have each other and the calm will always come back around. Thank you to Michelle for capturing us and our love for our “Just Because” shoot! “
