Leela was incredible.. she just relaxed into the most photogenic poses. It was great to see her mom and dad again after our maternity session at the beach. They are such a wonderful family, and I hope to watch Leela grow into a beautiful little child!

Effie is gorgeous… and I love photographing her and her sweet family of three. It was great catching up with her these past two sessions, and I couldn’t be happier for them all!

Meet Gavin’s new little brother, Dylan! I have grown to love this family over the past two years… they are incredible and sweet. I can’t wait to watch the boys grow, and can only imagine how close they will become.

“Never in my life could I possibly imagine loving something, or someone as much as I do this little girl. Kamryn Jade came into our lives at 11:03pm on Thursday, July 12th weighing exactly 7lbs and measuring 19inches.
The second I laid eyes on her I fell deeply in love. Kamryn is truly the best thing that has ever happened to us. We are so thankful and proud to begin this wonderful journey called parenthood. We couldn’t have asked for a greater gift in life. “

“My husband, a commercial pilot, was in Houston for upgrade training for much of the five weeks before our daughter’s due date. Although he had given the little lady strict orders to stay put until he returned, we were very worried he might miss her birth. A good friend had accompanied me to my birthing classes and was prepared to help support me during the delivery, but I just really wanted my husband by my side and I knew he would be devastated too if he wasn’t there for our daughter’s birth.
As if she were waiting for the perfect moment, the night he came home from his final day of training, my water broke not five hours later. A little more than five hours after that, Camilla Jade Pels was born. She arrived at 8:46am on July 12, 2012 at 8lb, 12 oz and 21 inches long, following a quick but intense natural birth at the Alternative Birthing Center. When the midwives placed her in my arms, I was in awe of what an amazing and beautiful little person we had created.
After nine long months of anxiously imagining her, I was finally looking at her and I’ve hardly been able to tear my eyes away from her since. In just six days, she has become the absolute love of our lives. And what an upgrade for my husband — Captain and Daddy all in one day!”
